Froggy Family's First Frolic is a fantastically fun book. Rich pictures with depth and texture create a believable landscape for this delightful adventure. My 15 year old who is most often seen with an electronic device saw Ms. Fass little book, picked it up, read it and exclaimed 'that's a good book'. Couldn't agree more.

My name is Karen Beck, and I am a Quotidian Philosopher, Mystic and Art Prophet. FROGGY FAMILY'S FIRST FROLIC is an exact reflection of the beauty that day-to-day mysticism is real and that the beauty of LOVE and the SPIRIT that connects us is as REAL as the water in which frogs swim, play and...indeed, frolic. Margot L. Fass is truly an artiste-savante, a soul-healer and fellow mystic!

I just received my copy of Froggy Family's First Frolic today, and I am still in a state of delight! I have collected beautiful books since I was a child. I still have most of them now, 40 years later. However, I have never seen such a vibrant, delightful, moving children's book in my entire life. And I LOVE books! This is a great and happy book for young or old. It also holds an important message for us all. In fact, there are as many layers in the message as there are in the rich and delicious colors that grace each and every page of the book. Don't miss it!

Margot Fass' book Froggy Family's First Frolic is a beautifully illustrated, enjoyable book that will certainly spark plenty of interest in amphibians in the younger generation. Congratulations to the author for providing such a nice, original read!

The cover shows a very hip red-eyed tree frog in a smart, blue-purple skin-tight suit against a lush green background where the title dances. The dedication makes it clear there is a lot of love put into these engaging illustrations about a frog family who, in spite of questions, set out on a newlywed adventure (with their rapidly born infants). Yes, whether "friends" or "enemies" we learn learn kindness and patience understanding that what happens to one living creature will surely, eventually, happen to us. The leaping, somersaulting, splashing are contagious and each frog face has an endearing quality. My favorite page shows the couple ready to sleep, with five froglets above on a stalk, and seven below, but there is no nap in sight as the sun comes up and the next page shows the irridescent colors of bright morning painting the forest. This is not a book that depends on a narrative, but rather, a book which invites a love for beauty and playful spirit.

I am so glad we acquired "Froggy Family's First Frolic" for our 6-year-old daughter. The paintings are stunningly beautiful, giving expression to the frogs without anthropomorphizing them. The story has just a subtle hint of danger to the protagonists, which I appreciated as our child is very sensitive to this sort of thing. The text was just the right level for a very strong 1st grade reader, with enough difficult words to challenge, but not enough to discourage. "Froggy Family's First Frolic" is destined to become a beloved classic!

Margot's book will touch the heart of any age. It is a great gift or coffee table book. The art is wonderful and the story dear. I cherish having the frog family on a table were everyone can see it.....especially my grand- children.

Yes, the story is wonderful! Yes, the frogs are really cute! But the skill of integrating the paintings and the layout of the entire book (with Denison Creative), is fantastic! Changes in the page colors were ingenious and interesting. There were paintings I had not noticed in the book"s earlier stage that I had seen and read. They are beautiful! Great composition and luscious, rich colors! I'm really impressed . . .found myself studying them.. WOW! I'm thrilled to know and have as a friend, a really talented artist and children's book author. I hope there will be another sometime in the future!

Froggy Family's First Frolic is a thoroughly enchanting book - and, happily, the title promises more to come. What a delightful immersion into the world of these tiny tree frogs. Each page is a feast to the eye, and everything about it sings out with the joy of co-creation - from the wise dedication, rich illustrations and creative storyline to the helpful informational page that gives the reader a chance to make a difference. The author's final observation that we are all "[one]derful" makes us WANT to "Watch, be aware, humble and mindful" as we look forward to a new adventure.

"Frogs are adorable creatures that are very much like us. . . " This beautiful book, illustrated with reproductions of original oil paintings by the very talented and playful author, Margot Fass, is a wonderful way to introduce children (and adults too!) not only to the world of adorable red eyed tree frogs, but to the world of fine art as well. The story delights, and the illustrations leap with joy with every turn of the page. A delicious book to visit again and again.

Margot Fass's new book is a feast for the eyes and the heart. It is a sweet story of a young (frog) family on their first outing with the children. While simple enough for a child to enjoy, it will appeal to frog and nature lovers of all ages. The book is illustrated with original paintings by the author and they are lush and breathtakingly beautiful. Each one is a masterpiece. I presented the book to my 8 month old grandson and he started patting and grabbing the frog pictures excitedly. One doesn't even need to be able to read to absolutely love this book!

Froggy Family's First Frolic is a beautifully written children's story for all ages. The illustrations are exquisite and Margot Fass has created a delightful story of a frog's family doing what I guess all loving frog families do... frolic. It would make an excellent gift for a child, grandchild or child-at-heart. Don't hesitate to purchase this book!
